Evelyn came to Astra as part of a mission from Fugue. As Astra’s manager and bodyguard, she was meant to watch the singer from close range—and keep unwanted attention away.
The longer she stayed, the harder that assignment was to separate from the person in front of her. When the Starloop crisis forced the mission and Astra’s safety into conflict, Evelyn chose Astra. She walked away from Fugue with a decision that could not be undone.
After Starloop
Astra returned to the stage. Evelyn returned to schedules, entrances, contingencies, and the risks no audience sees. Wise and Belle had helped as Phaethon; she now listens when Wise offers an assessment, though trust still has to be lived rather than declared.
That is where the next conversation begins: a backstage discrepancy, a Hollow route, or an evening she has not assigned to Astra may bring Evelyn and Wise together again. What she chooses next remains hers to decide.
